Description

A delightful and refreshing salad combining apples, grapes, walnuts, and a creamy dressing, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound apples, diced
  • 2 medium Gala or Pink Lady apples
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 2 ribs celery, diced (about 1 cup)
  • 1/2 cup seedless red grapes, quartered (about 3 oz)
  • 1/4 cup toasted walnuts, chopped
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp orange juice
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt, or more to taste

Instructions

  1. Wash apples and grapes. Dice the apples and slice the celery. Cut the grapes in half and chop the walnuts.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the diced apples, celery, grapes, walnuts, and raisins. Stir gently with a spatula.
  3. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, half a teaspoon of orange juice, honey, and sea salt until smooth.
  4. Pour the dressing over the apple mixture and toss gently to coat.
  5. Serve immediately or chill in the fridge for about 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

Best served fresh to maintain the crunchiness of the apples. Can be stored in the fridge for up to two days.
