Instructions
- Prepare Your Potatoes: Peel, rinse, and cut the russet potatoes into thin fries.
- Soak the Fries: Place the cut fries in cold water for 20 to 30 minutes.
- Drain and Dry: Drain the fries and pat them dry with a clean towel.
- Coat with Spices: In a large bowl, combine fries with vegetable oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, cayenne, salt, and pepper.
- Choose Your Cooking Method: For oven, preheat to 425°F (220°C) and bake for 25 to 30 minutes, flipping halfway. For air fryer, preheat to 400°F (200°C) and cook for 18 to 20 minutes.
- Add Cheese: Once fries are hot and crispy, sprinkle shredded cheddar on top and drizzle warm nacho cheese sauce over them.
