Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups fresh or frozen pineapple chunks
  • 1 large ripe banana (fresh or frozen)
  • 3/4 cup Greek yogurt or coconut yogurt
  • 1/2 cup coconut milk or almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon honey or agave syrup (optional)
  • A handful of ice cubes (optional, for extra chill)
  • Pineapple wedges for garnish

Instructions

  1. Gather all your ingredients. Start by measuring out 1 1/2 cups of pineapple chunks and 1 ripe banana.
  2. Prepare your blender. In the blender, combine the pineapple, banana, 3/4 cup of Greek yogurt, and 1/2 cup of your choice of milk.
  3. Add sweetness and chill. If you like a sweeter smoothie, add in the 1 tablespoon of honey or agave syrup. If you want it extra cold, toss in a handful of ice cubes.
  4. Blend it all together! Secure the top of your blender and blend everything on high speed for about 30-60 seconds. Stop and check the consistency. If it’s not as smooth as you like, you can blend it a little longer.
  5. Pour with care. Once you have a silky-smooth mix, pour the smoothie into chilled glasses.
  6. Garnish and enjoy. Top each glass with a pineapple wedge for a pretty touch.
