  • 1 large crusty bread bowl (sourdough or artisan)
  • 1/2 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 lb scallops
  • 1/2 lb crab meat
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (e.g., mozzarella or cheddar)
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the shrimp and scallops in a medium skillet over medium heat until just opaque, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine cooked seafood, crab meat, cream cheese, shredded cheese, green onions, mayonnaise, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Carefully hollow out the bread bowl, leaving about an inch of bread around the edges.
  5. Spoon the seafood mixture into the hollowed-out bread bowl, packing it slightly.
  6. Place the filled bread bowl on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes or until the top is golden and bubbly.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For a vegetarian option, consider using a rich vegetable filling instead of seafood. You can also adjust the cheese and use gluten-free bread if needed.
