Description

A creamy, cheesy, and flavorful dip made with ground beef, Velveeta cheese, and Rotel tomatoes, perfect for gatherings and parties.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 can of Rotel tomatoes (diced tomatoes and green chilies)
  • 16 ounces of Velveeta cheese, cut into cubes
  • Optional: 8 ounces of cream cheese or sour cream
  • Seasonings: Taco seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until it’s no longer pink. Drain the grease.
  2. Add the Rotel tomatoes (don’t drain them) and the Velveeta cheese into the skillet.
  3. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the Velveeta cheese is fully melted and the dip is smooth.
  4. Serve warm in a serving bowl.

Notes

For a crockpot method, transfer the cooked beef, Velveeta cheese, and Rotel tomatoes to a crockpot and cook on low for 2-3 hours.
