  • 1 lime wedge (12 teaspoons juice)
  • 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon dark brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients by chopping vegetables and cleaning the shrimp.
  2. Heat the sesame oil in a large pan over medium heat until it starts to shimmer.
  3. Add minced garlic and chopped red onion, cooking until the onion is soft and translucent (about 2-3 minutes).
  4. Add the shrimp and stir until they turn pink (about 3-4 minutes).
  5. Stir in the broccoli florets and cook for another 5 minutes until vibrant green but still crisp.
  6. Pour in soy sauce, rice vinegar, dark brown sugar, and squeeze lime juice over it all, gently mixing everything together.
  7. Cook for an additional minute, ensuring everything is heated through.
  8. Garnish with chopped green onion before serving and enjoy immediately.
