- 1 teaspoon salt (optional, for taste)
- 1–2 teaspoons neutral oil (like grapeseed or avocado oil)
- Optional Flavor Add-ins: Vanilla extract, honey, cocoa powder
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Spread 3 cups of pistachios on a baking tray and roast for 7-10 minutes until fragrant.
- Let the pistachios cool completely.
- Put the cooled pistachios in a food processor and pulse to break them into smaller pieces. Then, blend continuously until you achieve a thick, creamy butter, about 7-10 minutes.
- If desired, add 1-2 teaspoons of neutral oil while blending for a smoother texture.
- Add optional flavors (e.g., vanilla extract, honey, cocoa powder) and blend for another 1-2 minutes.
- Store the pistachio butter in an airtight jar in the fridge for up to one month or freeze for longer storage.
