Ingredients

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, divided
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Set up a breading station with three bowls: one for flour, one for the egg mixture (eggs and milk), and one for the breadcrumb mixture (bread crumbs, 1/2 cup Parmesan, mozzarella, garlic, and Italian seasoning).
  3. Bread the chicken by dipping each breast into flour, then egg mixture, then coat with breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Place the breaded chicken in a greased baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese on top.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
