- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 jar spaghetti sauce
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/2 lb cottage cheese (1 cup)
- 1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
- 8 oz spaghetti (cooked)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Use a wooden spoon to break the meat apart. Cook until it is no longer pink.
- Drain excess fat.
- Add spaghetti sauce to the beef and let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, cottage cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Layer half of the cooked spaghetti in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Spread the cheese mixture over the spaghetti.
- Pour the meat sauce over the cheese layer.
- Top with the remaining spaghetti.
- Sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Melt the butter and drizzle it over the top.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
This dish can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge before baking. You can also add veggies or adjust cheese types as desired.
