- 1 tablespoon peanut or canola oil
- Jerk seasoning, to taste
- Lemon juice, to taste

- Black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large skillet, heat the butter and oil over medium heat.
- Season both sides of the salmon with jerk seasoning, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.
- Carefully place the salmon in the skillet and sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Transfer the salmon to a baking dish and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until cooked through.
- Remove from the oven and let it rest for a minute before serving.

Use fresh ingredients for best flavor. Allow the salmon to marinate for 30 minutes for deeper flavors if desired.
