- 1/2 head green cabbage, thinly sliced
- 1 medium carrot, julienned
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
Instructions
- Heat 1 tablespoon of sesame oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the ground beef, breaking it apart as it cooks until browned (about 5-7 minutes).
- Stir in the thinly sliced cabbage and julienned carrot, cooking for 4-5 minutes.
- Pour in the low-sodium soy sauce and rice vinegar, stirring everything together for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Remove from heat, serve warm, and enjoy!
Notes
For a gluten-free option, use tamari instead of soy sauce. Customize with different vegetables or proteins as desired.
