Ingredients

- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and salt, and set aside.
- In another bowl, combine melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar, then mix until smooth.
- Add eggs and vanilla to the butter mixture and mix until combined.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour the dough into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until edges are golden and center is set but still soft.
- Cool for 10-15 minutes before cutting into squares.
Notes
Let cool slightly before cutting for a gooey center. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or freeze for longer storage.
