Description

Ingredients

  • 1 box brownie mix
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • Chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  3. Prepare the brownie mix by combining the brownie mix, eggs, vegetable oil, and water according to the package instructions.
  4. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan and bake for about 20 minutes.
  5. While the brownie layer is baking, prepare the cheesecake layer by beating together cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  6. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  7. Gently fold in the sour cream until combined.
  8. Pour the cheesecake mixture over the baked brownie layer and smooth the surface.
  9. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 45-50 minutes, until the edges are golden and the center is set.
  10. Cool at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  11. Optional: Sprinkle chocolate chips on top before serving.
  12. Slice and serve cold or with ice cream/whipped cream.
