- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 eggs
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Swiss cheese for topping
Instructions
- Combine ingredients in a large bowl: ground beef, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, milk, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, and salt.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in the crockpot.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- About 30 minutes before serving, add Swiss cheese on top to melt.
- Check doneness with a toothpick, let cool for a few minutes before slicing, and serve.
Notes
Use fresh ingredients for better flavor and don’t overmix to prevent a dense meatloaf. Can be prepared a day in advance.
