- 450 g ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 200 g uncooked pasta (penne, rotini, or elbow)
- 480 ml beef broth
- 425 g tomato sauce
- 15 ml Worcestershire sauce
- 15 ml mustard
- 15 ml ketchup
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
- Add the finely diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet, sauté for 2-3 minutes until softened.
- Stir in the uncooked pasta, beef broth, tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, ketchup, and smoked paprika until well combined.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat, cover, and let it simmer for 15-20 minutes until the pasta is tender and the liquid has thickened.
- Serve hot, straight from the skillet or in bowls.
Notes
Add bell peppers or peas for extra nutrition. Can substitute turkey or vegan ground meat for a lighter option.
