  • Yield: 4 servings 1x
  • Diet: Beef

Description

A comforting and creamy pasta dish that combines the flavors of cheeseburgers in a hearty, family-friendly meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 450 g ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 200 g uncooked pasta (penne, rotini, or elbow)
  • 480 ml beef broth
  • 425 g tomato sauce
  • 15 ml Worcestershire sauce
  • 15 ml mustard
  • 15 ml ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Add the finely diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet, sauté for 2-3 minutes until softened.
  3. Stir in the uncooked pasta, beef broth, tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, ketchup, and smoked paprika until well combined.
  4. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat, cover, and let it simmer for 15-20 minutes until the pasta is tender and the liquid has thickened.
  5. Serve hot, straight from the skillet or in bowls.

Notes

Add bell peppers or peas for extra nutrition. Can substitute turkey or vegan ground meat for a lighter option.
