Description

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup butter (softened)
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 baguette or loaf of Italian bread

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine softened butter, minced garlic, dried oregano, mozzarella cheese, and Parmesan cheese.
  3. Slice the baguette in half lengthwise.
  4. Spread the cheese mixture evenly on both halves of the bread.
  5. Place the bread on a baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Optional: For an extra crispy texture, broil for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  7. Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, slice, and serve warm.
