- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup butter (softened)
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 baguette or loaf of Italian bread
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine softened butter, minced garlic, dried oregano, mozzarella cheese, and Parmesan cheese.
- Slice the baguette in half lengthwise.
- Spread the cheese mixture evenly on both halves of the bread.
- Place the bread on a baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Optional: For an extra crispy texture, broil for an additional 1-2 minutes.
- Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, slice, and serve warm.
Notes
For a spicy kick, add red pepper flakes to the cheese mixture. Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor.
