Description

Learn how to make tender and flavorful meatballs in your crockpot without the risk of overcooking them.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups marinara sauce (or sauce of choice)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, Parmesan cheese, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  2. Shape the mixture into uniform meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  3. Place the meatballs in the crockpot and pour marinara sauce over them.
  4. Cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  5. If using frozen meatballs, adjust cooking time to 6-8 hours on low or 3-4 hours on high.
  6. Serve meatballs with sauce and enjoy!

Notes

For added flavor, consider browning the meatballs in a skillet before adding them to the crockpot.
