Instructions

  3. Add the Milk: Gradually whisk in the milk until smooth.
  4. Cook the Mixture: Heat over medium, stirring constantly until thickened (about 5-7 minutes).
  5. Temper the Eggs: In a bowl, whisk egg yolks, gradually adding about 1 cup of hot mixture.
  6. Combine Everything Again: Return egg mixture to saucepan and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
