Description

A delicious sandwich combining juicy chicken, sweet pineapple, and gooey melted cheese, perfect for sharing with family and friends.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup pineapple, diced
  • 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 4 slices provolone cheese
  • 2 chicken breasts, cooked and shredded
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Hoagie rolls

Instructions

  1. Heat a medium skillet over medium heat and add olive oil.
  2. Sauté sliced onion and bell pepper until soft and fragrant, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. In a bowl, combine shredded chicken, teriyaki sauce, and diced pineapple.
  4. Add the chicken mixture to the skillet and heat until warm, about 5 minutes.
  5. Remove skillet from heat and fill hoagie rolls with the chicken mixture, topping each with a slice of provolone cheese.
  6. Broil in the oven until cheese is melted and bubbly, about 3-5 minutes.
