- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1/4 cup bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup onion, finely diced
- 1/4 cup whole milk
- 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon fine sea salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, diced onion, milk, barbecue sauce, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until combined, being careful not to overmix.
- Shape the mixture into a uniform loaf and place it in a baking dish or on a lined baking sheet. Brush extra barbecue sauce on top if desired.
- Bake the meatloaf for about 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
- Let it rest for about 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
Allow meatloaf to cool slightly before slicing for cleaner pieces. Add herbs or spices for extra flavor.
