A quick and delightful dish combining beef, Chinese onions, and garlic, perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound beef, sliced
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups Chinese onions, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat until hot.
  2. Add minced garlic and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add the sliced beef and cook for 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally until browned.
  4. Add the chopped Chinese onions and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes or until slightly crisp.
  5. Pour in soy sauce, add sugar, and season with salt and pepper. Stir well.
  6. Let it cook for another 2 minutes until the flavors meld together.
  7. Serve hot, optionally garnished with extra chopped onions or sesame seeds.
