- 1 pound beef, sliced
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups Chinese onions, chopped
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat until hot.
- Add minced garlic and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the sliced beef and cook for 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally until browned.
- Add the chopped Chinese onions and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes or until slightly crisp.
- Pour in soy sauce, add sugar, and season with salt and pepper. Stir well.
- Let it cook for another 2 minutes until the flavors meld together.
- Serve hot, optionally garnished with extra chopped onions or sesame seeds.
